Spanish Moss grows everywhere, and it's fun to play with. Much of it was knocked out by Hurricane Hugo, but it has since grown back. There are actually some flowers within all of that haylike stuff. Legend says it gets it's name from a Native American tribe who after killing a Spanish woman with gray hair, believed that she was coming back to haunt them with bad omens on the trees.
