The best
way to see Alaska is by plane or helicopter. So for me, a person who
has a true fear of clowns, it was tough to hop into the cockpit. But I
did, in the name of lesson plans. The Misty Fjords National Monument
is one of the most serene and untouched nature reserves in the US. It
contains some of the country's highest falls and mountains, as
well as fjords, or waterways and rock carved by glaciers. It's like
walking thousands of years back in time into a wildlife refuge.
