I have been twice ... once I stayed for 3 minutes ...then got tired of hearing everyone say ... "HOW COULD YOU STAY THERE FOR ONLY THREE MINUTES?!" So years later, I came back for three more ... three hours that is, lots to see here.

The Grand Canyon, the exceptionally deep, steep-walled canyon in northwestern Arizona, was excavated by the Colorado River. The Grand Canyon is 446 km (277 mi) long, up to 29 km (18 mi) wide, and more than 1500 m (5000 ft) deep. It costs $20 to get in there though! I stayed about twenty minutes, took these pictures, and then left. That works out to $60 an hour. I like George Carlin's idea of having a yo-yo with a 5,000 foot string to play with here.
