1. The war was fought on uncommon terrain in a jungle.

2. Napalm was an explosive chemical that was used extensively in Vietnam.

3. The Tet (lunar new year) Offensive was a massive thrust southward by the Communists in the North. Although the US pushed back the attack, it had a catastrophic affect on American morale, while increasing support for the Communists within Vietnam

4. In 1973, Richard Nixon pulled American troops out of Vietnam. The country became Communist shortly after.
