1. Each state could coin own money.

2. No executive (though there was a President of Congress -- John Hanson. Some consider him to be the first president of the US ... hit your teacher with that one!)

3. No regulation of interstate commerce.

4. No interstate court system.

5. No Army

6. 9/13 was needed to pass a law.

7. 13/13 was needed to make an amendment.
