People Dress Like Cowboys!

Parts of Texas still have cowboys. OK, maybe they aren't cowboys, but they are grown men who walk around in tight dungarees while parading cowboy hats, boots, and spurs. I wanted to get pictures with some of these local fixtures, but I was too scared that they were packing heat. This dress style goes back 170 years, as Texas was first settled by people seeking fame and fortune. But, without a strong system of law enforcement, gun-slinging became prevalent. So did rodeos, cowboys, and ranchers! Yeeeee-haaaaa!!!!!
