Anchloss was when Hitler
annexed Austria in 1938 ... he did so where I am standing, in
Heldenplatz, right near the Hofburg (Imperial Palace of the
Hapsburgs.) The picture on the right is of Ceske Krumlov, a beautiful
town in the Sudetenland. Both of these instances are textbook examples
of appeasement. |
